PORT ANGELES – The list of County and City officials retiring or stepping down in 2018 continues to grow, as Clallam County Public Health Officer Chris Frank has announced that he and his family will be moving back to their home state of Michigan so that his wife can pursue a professional opportunity.
Frank and his family moved to the area ten years ago, and he was appointed health officer in 2015.
He says the County has made significant strides lately, but with much work still to do. He’s hoping his successor will be someone who already lives here in the community:
Doctor Frank has scheduled his last day as August 3RD, and intends to assist in finding his replacement.
