SEQUIM – After about a year of preparation, Service Fest gets underway in Sequim this coming Monday, June 4TH.

The two-week neighborhood improvement event is designed to join City staff, residents and volunteers together, with a lot of help from Habitat For Humanity and a group of RV “Care-A-Vanners” to work on projects of almost every kind, including home repairs for those who signed up.

And while there will be a lot of work performed, there’s also live music, speakers, food and drinks, outdoor mural painting, and a full calendar of other events.

Here’s City of Sequim’s Charisse Deschenes:

Volunteers can begin showing up at Guy Cole Center in Carrie Blake Park at 8:AM. You can get a lot more information and see a calendar of events at habitatclallam.org
