CLALLAM COUNTY – Nikolas Clark of Blyn was sentenced Thursday to over 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple rape and assault charges.
The case stems from his casual relationship with a woman back in November. An argument ended with Clark punching the woman in the jaw, and subsequently being served a Domestic Violence No-Contact Order.
Several weeks later Clark came to the victim’s house, at her invitation, despite the No-Contact Order. Over the next four days he repeatedly assaulted and raped the victim. Clark was arrested on January 31st by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies at his place of work in Port Hadlock.
The victim’s detailed impact statement influenced Judge Erik Rohrer in his decision to sentence the defendant to 220 months in prison.
