PORT ANGELES – The Composite Recycling Technology Center in the Port of Port Angeles has partnered with the world’s largest pickleball company to market a portable pickleball net, and it’s already selling fast.

Pickleball Central of Kent Washington added the product, called Swiftnet, to their website on Wednesday, saying it will revolutionize one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

Here’s CRTC’s Dave Walter:

Pickleball Central says that, compared to other portable nets, Swiftnet is more durable, it’s half the weight, sets up in less than half the time, and recreates the quality of play of the world’s highest end permanent court systems.

With over 3 million players in the US and a rapidly growing worldwide following, Walter happily points out that the whole story is firmly rooted right here in Washington:

The Swiftnet retails for $349, but is on sale for $299 at pickleballcentral.com.
