CLALLAM COUNTY – A 39-year-old Port Angeles woman was arrested on the 4TH of July after having allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the neck and arm.

Carla Salle was booked on assault charges after Sheriff’s Deputies found Mathew Hutto bleeding at a neighbor’s residence on Highway 101 near Blue Mountain Road around 5:00pm. Hutto was briefly interviewed before being transported by ambulance to the OMC. He said he was eating dinner when Salle came up from behind and stabbed him in the neck and then in the arm before he was able to get out of the trailer and go to the neighbor’s.

Deputies obtained enough evidence and developed probable cause to charge Salle with Assault 2nd Degree Domestic Violence.
