PORT ANGELES – The Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team, with the help of the State Patrol SWAT Team, arrested Justin Bricker Thursday morning at his home in Port Angeles with evidence of selling heroin and illegal weapons possession.

Detective Seargent John Keegan:

A warrant for Bricker’s arrest was issued after he sold suspected heroin to OPNET agents twice this year. The SWAT team was brought along because Bricker was believed to be armed and already has a felony assault conviction.

A search of the 29-year-old’s home in the 600 Block of North Larch led to the discovery of 1 stolen .40-caliber handgun, and about 6 grams of suspected heroin. A bomb squad was also called in after they found a pipe bomb, which was later found to be inert.

Evidence led to warrants and searches of other locations in Port Angeles as well.
