SEQUIM — The Sequim City Council voted Monday night to appoint William Armacost to fill the vacant Council position that opened up when Councilor Pamela Leonard-Ray relocated for family reasons.
Armacost was sworn into office by City Clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese after all four candidates were interviewed, which included Armacost, Tom Ferrell, Ron Fairclough, and Richard Fleck.
Armacost has lived in Sequim for 34 years and is the owner of Changes Salon & Spa. The term for the position will expire on December 31, 2019.
