SEQUIM — A 3.1 magnitude earthquake shook parts of the north Olympic Peninsula. It struck just before 6 Sunday morning beneath the Strait of Juan de Fuca at a depth of 15 miles below the earth’ surface.
There are no reports of damage, but many resident said they were awakened to a jolt and boom sound.
