CLALLAM COUNTY – This coming Tuesday, September 25 is National Voter Registration Day, and your Clallam County Elections Office is marking the occasion with vote pins and stickers for all who register to vote at the Auditor’s Office in the Clallam County Courthouse.

The occasion comes ahead of several quickly-approaching voter registration deadlines for those who want to cast a ballot in the November 6, General Election.

County residents have until Monday, Oct. 8 to register by mail or online, transfer their voter registration from another Washington county, or update their current registration.

If you’ve changed residences, your mailing address, or your name since the last time you voted, you should update your voter registration. The easiest way for most people is online at myvote.wa.gov, but you can also contact Clallam County Elections at 417-2221.

Ballots for the General Election will be mailed on Oct. 17, and returning them this year includes free postage.

Clallam County currently has more than 52,000 registered voters.
