Authorities say a police chase ensued at the U.S./Canadian border crossing in Blaine after a man in a truck fled from Washington state to Vancouver, B.C. without stopping at the border crossing booth.
The unidentified man in his 20s, driving a pickup truck with Oregon plates, bypassed the Peace Arch border crossing Saturday morning.
He refused to pull over for agents, evading multiple police officers for miles.
He was finally arrested by Vancouver police nearly 30 miles later, after his truck crashed into a Mazda sedan and the Rufus Drum Shop.
He now faces charges of dangerous driving and causing a police pursuit.
