PORT ANGELES – Current sitting Clallam County Superior Court judge Erik Rohrer will take back his old job as a district court judge.

Today’s certified results of yesterday’s recount did not change the race for Clallam District Court 2 judge. The hand recount matched exactly the original machine count, and Rohrer still defeated John Black, who requested the recount, by 28 votes.

Rohrer will step down from his Superior Court position at the end of the year. The governor will appoint a replacement to serve out the remainder of Rohrer’s term.
