CLALLAM COUNTY – Clallam County Superior Court announces the appointment of Brandon Mack as its new Family Court Commissioner. Mack will fill the position previously held by recently-appointed Superior Court Judge Brent Basden.

Mack has served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Port Angeles Office of the Attorney General since 2010. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in 1998 and graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2009.

The Family Court Commissioner presides over family law matters, including juvenile court cases. Clallam County’s innovative Family Court program began in 1991 and was the first of its kind in Washington. The unified Family Court approach has now become established statewide as the model for many other Family Courts.
