PORT ANGELES – Authorities still don’t have a motive and have made no arrests yet in a triple murder near Port Angeles.

Investigators continued processing the crime scene and interviewing individuals who knew the victims since Monday’s discovery of three people shot to death south east of Port Angeles.

The bodies of 57-year-old Darrell Iverson and his 27-year-old son, Jordan Iverson, were found beneath tarps and other debris in the yard of their home at 52 Bear Meadow Road off Deer Park Road late Monday afternoon.

While processing the scene, authorities found the body of 26-year-old Tiffany A. May locked in a nearby shed. May was Jordan Iverson’s girlfriend who reportedly had been living at the house. All three victims suffered gunshot wounds.

Clallam County sheriff Bill Benedict says investigators believe all three were killed Dec. 26 by someone they knew.

Authorities are looking into at least two people of interest who knew the victims. Benedict said evidence found so far points to one shooter who acted alone. He says dozens of shots were fired, but the weapon hasn’t been found.

Benedict said there are many trailers on the property where some transients and other people lived. Benedict noted no one was staying there when deputies were called to the scene on a welfare check of the Iversons about 4:15 New Year’s Eve afternoon.

Detectives have asked the public for help and have set up tip line at 360)417-2540.
