PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles police are looking for information on anyone who they say torched a car last night.

About 11 last night officers responded to the Welcome Inn Trailer Park on the west side of Port Angeles along Highway 101.  A silver Volvo was fully engulfed in flames.

The Port Angeles Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire. But police learned from a Welcome Inn employee that the vehicle had arrived at that location about two or three weeks prior and was abandoned.

The fire had originated inside the cabin of the vehicle and appears that someone intentionally set the vehicle on fire.
