PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles School Superintendent Marty Brewer announced Tuesday that Michelle Olsen, Principal at Roosevelt Elementary, will next year take over as Principal of Dry Creek Elementary. Olsen has served as Principal of Roosevelt since 2011. Prior to that she was Principal of Jefferson Elementary for ten years.

Jennifer Van De Wege, Assistant Principal of Roosevelt since 2016, will take over as Principal there.

Dry Creek Elementary Principal Brittane Hendricks has announced her intent to leave the school district at the end of this school year.

Hendricks has served as principal of Dry Creek for the past two years.

These changes will take effect on July 1, 2019.
