BELLEVUE (AP) — Police say an 18-year-old Bellevue College student was arrested in connection with a threat that led the school to cancel classes and evacuate the campus.
Students received an email from Bellevue College President Jerry Weber announcing the closure around 3 p.m. Thursday.
Bellevue police say the decision to close the school came after a student sent an email to the school containing a threat.
That email followed a classroom argument Wednesday between the student, another student and a teacher, during which the student made threatening statements.
Police arrested the student in Duvall Thursday, during which a Duvall police officer was injured.
