PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police arrested a man who admitted he used dog poop to make an explosive device in order to get revenge on a former friend.

Police say a man reported an explosion that came from a toolbox on his car back in April.

KATU News reports the man told police he noticed a yellow toolbox on the back of his Camaro that was not there previously. When he opened it, he said it exploded with the force of an M80, blowing dog waste everywhere.

The victim said he believed it was Robb Stout who created the explosive device because they used to be friends and had a falling out.

Police discovered the explosive device was made out of a plastic toolbox containing dog excrement, a battery, wiring, switches, and a vehicle airbag that had the fabric restraint removed.

When a detective spoke with Stout, he said he’d been friends with the victim for about 7 years and that he was angry because the victim wouldn’t give him back his property.
