PORT ANGELES – On Thursday we introduced you to three candidates for Port Angeles City Council.

Today we’ll meet the three people running for Position #7, which is being vacated by Cherie Kidd.

Martha Cunningham is retired from her careers as a paralegal and Montessori teacher, was recently the Art Commissioner for the City of Kent, and currently volunteers for the Clallam County CASA Program.

Brendan Meyer is 34-years-old and is a self-employed Market Researcher and Data Analyst. He and his wife moved to Port Angeles about a year ago from Durham, North Carolina.

Tara Martin Lopez is a Professor of Sociology at Peninsula College, where she’s been teaching for five years. She is currently on the Port Angeles Planning Commission. This is her first time running for elected office.
