PORT ANGELES — The owner of a local preschool center “adopted” the winning rubber duck in Sunday’s Great Olympic Peninsula Duck Derby.

Angeline Parrish wins the Toyota pickup from Wilder Toyota. The duck with her number floated across the Lincoln Park pond finish line at the 30th annual fundraising event for Olympic Medical Center’s Foundation. Parrish owns Banbury Corner Children’s Center.
