WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — Three mobile homes were destroyed in a mudslide after a storm in Wenatchee over the weekend.

Sergeant Kent Sisson with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said the force of the water sent a massive amount of rock and mud down the hillside Saturday night and into a development of single-wide mobile homes, nearly all the way up to the roof lines.

Residents, including children, were rescued from one home and were uninjured.
