MARYSVILLE, Wash. – The pilot of an experimental plane died when the aircraft crashed in a large field in Marysville.

Marysville police and firefighters responded just before 7 p.m. Wednesday on 51st Ave. NE

Investigators said the pilot was the only person on board.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
