PORT ANGELES – The Port Angeles School District’s effort to attract non-profit tenants at the Lincoln Center has paid off with the announcement that the United Way of Clallam County moved its operations into the building in December.

The District itself moved all or most of its operations into the center last summer as a cost-saving measure and has been looking selectively for tenants to fill the empty rooms.

Christy Smith, CEO of United Way of Clallam County, says that being in the space with the staff of the county’s biggest school district will allow them to collaborate more closely with the people who use the building, including board members, students, guests and employees.

United Way can be found on the 2nd floor in the former Skills Center, rooms 229 and 230.

For information about available space for rent in Lincoln Center, contact Kira Acker of Port Angeles School District at 360-565-3755.

You can reach the United Way at 360-457-3011 if you would like to visit or to learn more about the partnership with Port Angeles School District.
