SEQUIM — The Sequim City Council is gearing up for their Council Advance, an annual special meeting where they discuss and set new goals and priorities for the coming two years. With that in mind, there are still some issues left over from the previous council, and they’d like to get your input using the online survey Polco.

The use of Polco isn’t new to the City of Sequim, but Communications and Marketing Director Barb Hanna says it’s very handy for getting a quick read of what the community thinks is important.

“So in preparation for that meeting, which has not been scheduled yet this year, the city council asked to get some feedback on their current goals. So we propose to them that we, you know, ask the community how they feel about their current goals. And that’s what this survey does.”

The survey has a question about expanding broadband in the city as well as questions about environmental and economic development issues. The survey will be available through February 21, and then staff will tabulate and publish the results sometime soon after.

Sign up for Polco here. There is also a paper version of the survey available at the Civic Center if you prefer.
