PORT ANGELES –  Clallam County’s number of positive COVID-19 cases has ticked up to 17.

The state Department of Health announced Tuesday night another positive case. Thirteen of the positives patients have fully recovered. It’s the third positive case in Clallam County in three days after the county went more than ten days without a positive test result.

The latest case is a woman in her 20’s who contracted the virus in King County.

So far, no one has died of the virus in Clallam County.

Neighboring Jefferson County has stayed at 28 positive cases for two weeks and also no deaths. 

Statewide, another 156 cases were reported on Tuesday.
