PORT ANGELES – Clallam County is now up to 18 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The health department officials reported an additional case overnight Thursday.
Clallam County Health Officer Dr. Allison Berry Unthank says the latest case is a woman in her 90’s who was the household contact of one of the recent COVID-19 cases. Unthank says the woman has been on quarantine and had no other contact.
It’s the fourth positive COVID test result this week, after the county had gone ten days without a positive result.
Neighboring Jefferson County remains at 28 positive cases, a number that has stayed steady for more than two weeks.
