OLYMPIA – Governor Inslee announced Wednesday afternoon new guidance for allowing religious services in Washington state, including weddings and funerals, effective immediately.

For counties in Phase 1 and Phase 2, up to 100 people can now meet outdoors on the faith organization’s property.

For counties in Phase 2, organizations will be able to have indoor services up to 25% of the building’s capacity or 50 people, whichever is less, and up to 5 people can gather for in-home services.

All activities mentioned will require 6-foot social distancing, and face coverings are recommended.
