MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. — Two Alabama men are in an Oregon jail awaiting extradition after being charged in connection with a mass shooting in Morgan County earlier this month that left seven people, including one teenager, dead.

The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old John Legg and 23-year-old Frederic Rogers, who were arrested without incident during a traffic stop near Salem.

Both men face capital murder charges and knew everyone in the house where the June 5 massacre occurred.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department in Oregon stopped the pair in a silver Dodge Charger and held them at gunpoint until they were taken into custody.

Morgan County Sheriff Ron Puckett said at least three of the victims and both suspects belonged to their own club, known as the “Seven Deadly Sins.”
