SEQUIM – A suspected drug dealer who has been eluding law enforcement since a high-speed pursuit was abandoned west of Port Angeles on September 6 was arrested on Monday.

33-year-old Clayton Folsom of Port Angeles was booked into the jail for an outstanding DOC warrant, drug possession charges, and Felony Eluding; crimes that spanned the cities of both Port Angeles and Sequim.

Folsom was located when a Sequim Police Officer located a parked vehicle in the 300 block of S. 5th Avenue that Folsom had reportedly been driving. Officers surrounded an apartment he was entering, and Folsom surrendered without incident.

A search warrant for his vehicle revealed over 160 grams of suspected meth and 5.8 grams of suspected heroin.
