PORT ANGELES – Clallam County Superior Court is modifying operations in response to increased COVID-19 cases.

In an order from the court, all jury trials that were to start next week through December 2 will be postponed.

Judge Brent Basden says they don’t expect to resume jury trials again until COVID-19 case rates fall below 75 per 100,000.

Courtrooms will remain open and bench trials will continue to happen. Judge Basden’s order is encouraging remote appearance whenever possible.
