SEQUIM – The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe just announced their Covid vaccination schedule for the next 2-1/2 weeks, including an update on their effort to get an online registration system going.

Health Services Director Brent Simcosky now anticipates the online registration system will be ready for the week of February 2nd. Announcement of open online registration will occur a few days prior to that week’s vaccination days.

The following is the schedule for the next 2-1/2 weeks:

Thursday, January 21: First come, first served for Sequim-area folks aged 70 and over, using the same drive through model as before.

The same rules apply for Saturday, January 23. Both days they will vaccinate up to 600 people.

Then they’re going to close for the week of January 25 as they build up their vaccine inventory and vaccinate their health care workers with their second dose.

Then on Tuesday, February 2, Thursday, February 4 and Saturday, February 6, they’ll vaccinate folks 65 and over, using the new registration system to make appointments which, again, they’ll announce a few days prior to those events.
