SEQUIM — The City of Sequim has opened the 2021 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Docket Process.  All cities and counties that comply with the Growth Management Act must perform a major Comprehensive Plan review and update every eight years, but the City of Sequim considers such amendments every year as directed by its own Municipal Code.

Application for amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan must be submitted to the City’s Department of Community Development by the close of business on May 31.

The City of Sequim is accepting applications for text and map amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Those wishing to propose amendments must submit a complete application on forms available from the City of Sequim’s Department of Community Development.

City staff will present proposed amendments to the City Council for review.

Contact Department of Community Development Director Barry Berezowsky with any questions.
