The North Olympic Library System and Feiro Marine Life Center have partnered up to get library card holders into the Marine Center for free.

Now you can place a hold on the Feiro pass with your NOLS card. The pass offers free entry for up to 6 people: 2 adults and 4 kids. Library patrons who check out a pass will have access to the Feiro Center for up to 7 days.

Passes may be checked out by any NOLS card holder from any branch, but must be picked up at the Port Angeles Main Library.

If you’ve never been, the Feiro Marine Life Center showcases sea stars, crabs, scallops, anemones, fish and other marine life, all living within 20 miles of Port Angeles, from the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

There’s a microscope station, sculptures and murals, and three touch tanks.

Feiro Marine Life Center is on the Port Angeles City Pier and is open Thursdays – Mondays, 12 pm – 4 pm. (Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
