In volleyball action, the Sequim Wolves were swept 3-0 at 9th ranked North Kitsap. The Wolves are 2-3 on the season. The Port Angeles Roughriders ground out another road win knocking of Olympic 3-2. The Roughriders are now 3-2

In soccer, seventh-ranked North Kitsap beat Sequim 5-1. Taryn Johnson of Sequim scored the Wolves only goal. The Wolves are 2-2 on the season. The Port Angeles Roughriders knocked off Olympic 1-0. Izzy Felton scored the winning goal at the 67th minute mark. Roughrider Head Coach Daniel Horton praised Becca Manson for her defensive work. The Roughriders are out to a perfect 4-0 start.

The Roughriders tennis team are now a perfect 6-0 with a 6-1 win over Sequim. In singles action Garrett Little of Sequim beat Reef Gelder in 3, 3-6, 6-3 and 6-3. Nathan Basden defeated Espn Judd 6-0 6-0. Reid Schmidt beat William Hughes 6-2 6-1. In doubles action Zane Glassock and Edun Bailey beat Isaac McKeen and Aason Judd 6-0 6-1. Elijah Flodstrom and Jacob Miller beat Jacob Crecilius and Zach Post 6-0 6-1. Luke Flodstrom and Tate Alton beat Lincoln Bear and Hunter Tennell 6-2 6-1. Kellen Garcelon and Isaac Shamp beat Ryan Stites and Andrew Brown 6-0 6-0.

High school football tonight night at Civic Field in Port Angeles, with 0-3 Sequim at 1-2 Port Angeles. The Roughriders who have lost to the 5th and 8th ranked teams in the state are averaging 11 points per game and giving up a whopping 42 points per game. Sequim is even worse defensively giving up 43 points per game and scoring 18 points per game. The Wolves knocked off Port Angeles last year causing the Roughriders to finish 4-4 instead of a 5-3 winning record.
