Port Angeles – Frugals restaurant in Port Angeles was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.

Here’s Deputy Police Chief Jason Viada with what police know at this point.

“On Thursday, December 5, just after 11:00 pm, Frugals hamburger stand was the victim of an armed robbery. The business was robbed at gunpoint. The suspects were armed with handguns and the suspects were wearing masks over their faces, and they stole one of the employees cars to use as a getaway vehicle, though the vehicle that they stole was recovered about an hour after the robbery. The investigation is ongoing with staff from Patrol Division and the Detective Division working cooperatively on the case.”

Police have provided a few still shots taken from surveillance cameras of the two suspects holding handguns on an employee.
