Celebrate the Season with “The 12 Cookies of Christmas” at The Fifth Avenue and Sherwood Assisted Living
The Fifth Avenue Retirement Community and Sherwood Assisted Living are delighted to welcome the community to the third annual “12 Cookies of Christmas” celebration on Thursday, December 18, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This magical Winter-Solstice-themed evening invites families, friends, and neighbors to stroll through both communities while collecting a festive assortment of holiday cookies — just in time for Christmas.
Guests will receive a free selection of deliciously festive cookies as they visit each community — six cookies at one location and six at the other — making a full dozen by the end of the evening. With imaginative holiday décor, sparkling lights, and welcoming residents, the event creates the perfect setting for seasonal cheer.
Holiday characters will be spreading joy throughout the night. Santa Claus will be available for pho-tos and last-minute Christmas wishes and Frosty the Snowman will greet visitors for memorable winter-themed snapshots. Live music adds even more magic to the celebration. Guests will enjoy performances from Country Artist Buck Ellard and Pianist Gloria Hancock.
