Presented by Tangled Fibers, a collaborative group of four Olympic Peninsula fiber artists. Using fiber, color, texture and whimsy, the Tangled Fibers artists will create kelp, tide pools, octopus, sea stars, nudibranchs, jellyfish and other forms of life found under and over its shores. Tangled Fibers dedicates the exhibit to the diversity of the Salish Sea—a celebration of the patterns, colors and textures of sea life. In partnership with the North Olympic Library System, JFFA is hosting a celebration that honors Día de Muertos, a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico which honors and remembers friends and family members who have passed on. This holiday is accepted as a unifying national tradition based on indigenous traditions.
