PORT ANGELES – Clallam County has a new Public Health Officer.
Dr. Allison Berry Unthank’s credentials couldn’t be more relevant to her new job at the Department of Health and Human Services.
Unthank graduated from Johns Hopkins University, where she earned her medical doctorate and masters in public health in epidemiology and biostatistics. She completed residency in family medicine in at the University of Washington, where she practiced primary care and hospital medicine at Harborview Medical Center.
Most recently she has been working as a family physician at Jamestown Family Health Center in Sequim, where she also leads the addiction medicine department.
