PORT ANGELES – Just over 12 percent of the ballots are back for counting in Clallam County for the general election.
The county auditor’s office reports through yesterday, about 65-hundred of the ballots sent out a week ago had been returned.
Voters have until November 6th to get ballots back in the mail. Return postage is paid this time. You can also drop off ballots at official boxes.
This year there are three new official drop boxes added in the west end of the county. A fourth new drop box will be opened at the end of the month next to the Sunny Farms Country Store in Carlsborg.
There are also drop boxes at the courthouse and at the Sequim Village Shopping Center which are currently open.
