PORT ANGELES – Accused Clallam murder suspect Tommy Ross, Jr. appeared in court Thursday in Clackamas County, Oregon following his arrest Tuesday. Ross was released from custody here in Clallam County after his murder charge was dismissed by Judge Brian Coughenour, but he was picked up again hours later when the Washington State Court of Appeals re-imposed his bail conditions.
At his court appearance yesterday, Ross refused to waive extradition, which means he will probably not be sent back here anytime soon as our County Prosecutor works on an appeal of Judge Coughenour’s decision. Ross’ next appearance in Clackamas County Court is scheduled for December 21.
