QUILCENE – A Port Angeles woman was killed when her car crashed off a building and into a parked car in Quilcene.
38-year-old Dolores Chapman died at the scene of the accident just before midnight last night.
According to the State Patrol, Chapman veered off Highway 101 near Center Road. Her Ford Escape SUV hit the pillar of a building and crashed into a parked car along the highway.
A 39-year-old Georgia man in the parked car was injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The accident is still under investigation as troopers try to determine what caused Chapman to leave the roadway.
