SEQUIM – The City of Sequim and Olympic National Park have made a prestigious “Best Of” list for 2019, not as separate destinations, but as a pair to be visited together.

The Frommer’s online travel site has just posted their “Best Places to Go in 2019” list. Determined by a team of award-winning editors and writers from around the globe, (according to the website), the Frommer’s honor roll celebrates destinations reaching major milestones, opening important new attractions, overcoming past obstacles or, in the case of Sequim and ONP, emerging as overlooked spots due for discovery.

Whether or not you agree with the term “overlooked”, Sequim Communication and Marketing Director Barb Hanna is pleased to see the region getting global attention.

Inclusion on the list is likely to be noticed far beyond the Frommers website, and Hanna says she’s already been contacted by one of the TV networks.
