More than two hundred at-risk pets from Louisiana and Texas were flown here to the Pacific Northwest Saturday in hopes of finding them a home.
Wings of Rescue in partnership with GreaterGood.org and the ASPCA helped to relocate the pets.
134 cats and dogs were flown to Everett and 82 went onto Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
The animals were relocated because they were at overcrowded shelters who needed assistance moving animals out.
The 134 animals that arrived in Everett will be going to Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), The NOAH Center and The Humane Society of Skagit Valley for adoption. Check out those websites if you’re looking for a new best friend.
