SEQUIM – A deadly crash on Highway 101 at River Road Wednesday has a man in custody and accused of Vehicular Homicide.
State Troopers report that at about 4:45pm a vehicle, driven by 25-year-old John Sutton of Port Angeles, was heading eastbound when it crossed over the center line and struck head-on into the vehicle driven by 27-year-old Lou Galgano, also of Port Angeles.
Galgano was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other passengers in either vehicle.
Traffic on the highway was closed for four hours in both directions for the investigation. Sutton was taken into custody, suspected of DUI, and is now listed on the Clallam County jail roster as booked with Vehicular Homicide.
