PORT ANGELES – A 39-year-old Port Angeles woman was arrested for two outstanding felony warrants after PAPD officers responded to a report of a shoplifter at Country Aire store. The shoplifter was identified as Jessica Constant, who police were looking for in connection with a stolen vehicle and multiple burglaries in the area.
On the afternoon of September 15, a Sheriff’s Deputy located a stolen Ford Expedition parked in a residential area near the intersection of W. 10th and C Streets. The truck contained numerous items that had been reported stolen from a nearby home, along with a woman’s purse near the driver’s seat containing information indicating the purse belonged to Constant.
Probable cause was developed to show that Jessica Constant committed the crimes of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property, and Trafficking in Stolen Property.
She was booked into Clallam County Jail for those charges.
