Haller sentenced to 7 years for drug crimes

PORT ANGELES – Admitted drug dealer Marie Haller was sentenced to 7 years in prison Thursday in Clallam County Superior Court.

In May of this year OPNET detectives served a search warrant on Haller’s apartment in Port Angeles and found nearly 5 grams of heroin, 84 grams of meth, over $13,000 in cash and paraphernalia consistent with packaging drugs for sale.

Following her arrest, Haller admitted to selling drugs to support herself and her drug habit and later posted bail.

Then in June, OPNET obtained a search warrant for Haller’s car after learning that she was back in business selling drugs. The search of the car produced over $2,500 in cash, 43 grams of meth and 31 grams of heroin.

Then again September, OPNET detectives arrested Haller in the parking lot of her apartment complex and found more meth, cash and paraphernalia. This time, she remained in jail until yesterday’s sentencing.
