PORT ANGELES – A Port Angeles man was arrested early Friday morning, and is now awaiting domestic violence and firearms charges.
58-year-old Donald Fellas was being sought by police for allegedly kicking his girlfriend out of his truck at 2:00 am the night before and leaving her stranded on the roadway in Joyce.
When deputies found her walking down Joyce Access Road, the woman said they had been arguing and Fellas had threatened to kill her if she called law enforcement. She also said he had a gun. Fellas is a convicted felon and can’t legally possess a weapon.
This morning about 2:00 am deputies spotted his red pickup and arrested Fellas during a traffic stop. A search warrant produced two firearms.
Fellas is now facing charges of Felony Harassment, Assault/Domestic Violence and Unlawful Possession of Firearms.
