SEQUIM — 911 service has been out in the Sequim area.
PENCOM reported 911 calls were not working from landlines in Sequim beginning on New Year’s Day. People were advised to use cell phones or call 360-452-4545 to report emergencies in Sequim.
Officials say the service may be down until Friday as the third-party crews try to figure out the problem and a solution.
This is the second time in as many weeks that 911 service for landlines in Sequim has failed.
