BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Police say a man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 23-year-old woman whose body was found Friday afternoon inside a Bremerton home.
Bremerton police Lt. Aaron Elton says authorities responded to the home after receiving a 911 call about an unconscious woman. Police say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say 28-year-old Sean Howell was in the home and that he told investigators he was in a domestic relationship with the woman. Police say further questioning and evidence led officers to arrest and book him into the Kitsap County jail for investigation of murder.

PORT ORCHARD – The Kitsap Critical Incident Response Team is investigating an incident that occurred at the Kitsap County Jail, resulting in one Kitsap County Correction’s Officer and one inmate being hospitalized.
On Saturday, at around 10:30 a.m., Kitsap County Corrections Officers responded to an inmate in crisis. The inmate, 28-year-old Sean Howell, was arrested by the Bremerton Police Department on May 8 and booked for First-Degree Murder.
Howell had been in a crisis cell and was attempting to tamper with the sprinkler system. Corrections officers attempted to stop him from damaging the sprinkler, leading to a physical altercation.
Howell and one corrections officer were later transported to a hospital. Howell remains hospitalized in critical condition. The corrections officer was treated and released.
