SEQUIM – Sheriff’s deputies arrested a pair of Port Angeles residents Monday following a traffic stop that will likely lead to theft and drug charges.
The car driven by 26-year-old Sean Tamburro and his passenger, 21-year-old Kayla Wishart, has been confirmed stolen out of Kitsap County. Tamburro was initially found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and Wishart in possession of heroin.
That led to deputies being granted a search warrant for the stolen vehicle which yielded unopened mail from three Clallam County residents and one piece of unopened mail from an out-of-county resident.
Deputies also turned up a BB gun, three registrations to vehicles that did not belong to Wishart or Tamburro, and a Washington State license plate that registered to a vehicle not belonging to Wishart or Tamburro.
Some of the stolen mail has been returned and the remaining items were entered into evidence.
Tamburro and Wishart were booked into the Clallam County Jail.
