Davis was last seen tending her plot at a community garden in Tacoma. Two days later her car was found fully engulfed in flames in an alley downtown.

Then, on Aug. 5, a woman’s body was found near Snoqualmie Pass. The King County Medical Examiner on Monday confirmed the identity of the body as Diana Davis.
